MOLAA Presents DANGER! at the Collaborative

Show duration: April 28 - July 20, 2012

The Collaborative
421 W. Broadway Ave., Long Beach, CA

This Exhibition will present worksof art that explore the idea of danger, featuring artists Mely Barragan, Miguel Fernandez and Daniel Ruanova. Danger! Challenges the viewer to analyze his/her own notions of perception and caution before objects that appear dangerous and hazardous.

Arts for LA Workshops in Long Beach

Communities across LA County are working collaboratively to ensure that all students have access to the arts. Join us to develop our shared vision for arts education in your community, discuss current efforts, learn effective advocacy strategies, and develop a community plan to increase access to the arts.

Parent, artists, educators and other stakeholders interested in supporting and promoting arts education are invited to attend.

Workshops will be held at the Museum of Latin American Art. Directions & parking information will be emailed to registrants.

Micro-Grants

Do you need extra funding for a project that benefits and enlivens the Long Beach community? This grant gives you the opportunity to fund events, festivals, workshops and even for you to attend professional development training. Micro-Grant Applications are due on the 15th of every month. You can apply to both the monthly Micro-Grant Program and one of the other four grants offered during the 2011-2012 Grant Cycle.
