Meeting Schedule

Arts Council for Long Beach Board of Directors Meetings are held the 1st Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in various locations throughout Long Beach.  There is no board meeting in August.  Executive Committee meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at Utopia Restaurant, 445 East 1st Street, Long Beach, CA 90802.

Advisory Committee for Public Art (ACPA)

The Advisory Committee for Public Art (ACPA) reviews proposals for public artworks and projects funded through the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency's Percent for Public Art Policy.

2009-2010 Grant Panels

Each year, the Arts Council for Long Beach convenes grant review panels comprised of local artists and arts professionals who volunteer their time to undertake the important task of deciding how to distribute grant funds to Long Beach-based artists, community groups, and arts/cultural organizations.
