a. No, the funds cannot be used for traveling

a. Yes, that is strongly encouraged for dance, multi-disciplinary, media, theatre and traditional and folk art. Videos can be up to 5 minutes long. (specific info in the applications)
4. If an organization has received funding from the city, can you still apply?
a. Yes, as long as the funding from the city is not directly funding the art portion of your organization.
5. Regarding the Professional Artist Grant, do the artists have to receive payment for their work to apply?
a. No. If an artist is an installation or new genre artist and hasn't directly received payment because their work cannot necessarily be purchased, they can still apply.

a. They don't all have to live in Long Beach, they can be from the Greater Los Angeles Area.
