The Long Beach Music Council invites the community to rally at Tuesday’s City Council Meeting in support of two important initiatives being considered by the City Council. The Long Beach Music Council has been working with 2nd District Councilmember Jeannine Pearce and her staff to present two recommendations to the City Council to enhance the Long Beach music community: 1. to encourage smaller, low-volume live music venues and 2. to encourage and support street performing.

Please assemble at 4 p.m. on the steps of City Hall (333 W. Ocean Blvd.) for a high energy rally showing the City Council we support music as an economic driver. Then attend the City Council meeting, which starts at 5:30 p.m. Show the city that musicians in Long Beach want to make a difference and want to make Long Beach a “music city.”
