In March, the Wilson High School Symphony Orchestra represented Long Beach at the Carnegie Hall Festival of Gold. Wilson was one of 13 schools invited to perform at the renowned concert venue and, for most of the students, it was their first time traveling to the Big Apple. Students had the wonderful experience of performing in a prestigious venue where they could easily hear the sound of their instrument. The Arts Council is proud of the educators and students at Wilson and is honored to have supported their trip through the Arts Education Enrichment Grant.
