Call to Long Beach Artists & Cultural Organizations: Submit your October Art Offerings for GLOBAL

Every October, the Arts Council for Long Beach makes a major push to promote all of Long Beach's cultural offerings through GLOBAL, its annual program.

Why October?

GLOBAL occurs every October as part of National Arts and Humanities Month, a coast-to-coast celebration of culture in America.

Why GLOBAL?

"We are a global city and have such diverse artistic talent," explains Craig Watson, Executive Director of the Arts Council for Long Beach. "National Arts and Humanities Month is our time to celebrate the power of the arts and explore the events and venues available in our own back yard."

Call for Arts Events happening in October

If you're hosting arts events in Long Beach during October (including plays, music, after-school arts activities, workshops, poetry, dance performances, exhibits, festivals, literary discussions and cultural performances), GLOBAL can promote you for free.
