Artist Work

Lighting It Up (2017)
This is my rendition of the beautiful trees that line the bay in Belmont Shore in Long Beach at the holidays. I finished this piece right at dusk along the Appian Way bridge. It is a quintessential Long Beach holiday scene.

Scruffy (2017)
This is a sample of one of the 8"x 10" paintings I do of favorite pets.

Painted Ladies (2017)
This is an original 12" x 24" oil painting of the well known "Painted Ladies" as they are referred to. They are a set of homes facing Alamo Park on Steiner St in San Francisco.

Sun Lit Everglades (2019)
I painted this from a recent trip to Florida while kayaking through the Everglades. What I loved most about this image is how the sun light was streaming through the trees and the reflection shining back off the water. It exudes peacefulness and calm. This is a 14”x 18” original oil painting and comes in a gallery style frame.

A Day at the Pike (2018)
I created this painting based on a 1920s photograph of the iconic Long Beach Pike in downtown. The Pike was an amusement zone that was built in 1902 and lasted until 1979. It was the place to be in Long Beach in the 20s. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone by painting in a monochromatic scheme and by trying to keep the sepia feel of the photograph. This is a 24”x30” original oil painting and comes in a gallery style frame.

Whispering in the Aspens (2018)
On a trip to the gorgeous mountain town of Telluride, Colorado I took a drive one day to see what I would discover. On a remote road above the town I came upon this stand of Aspens. The solitude and colors were so beautiful I decided to set up and paint. This is a studio piece I did from the plein air painting I did on site. It is an 18" x 14" Original Oil Painting and comes in a gallery style frame.
